Many of us have taken the plunge into the short-term rental market either with airbnb or another platform, and let’s be honest it can be a lot to manage.

Well things may be about to get much easier with Jurny. Jurny is an all-in-one property management system with a direct integration into airbnb. Jurny assists with marketing your properties and helps you manage all reservations across all sales platforms to prevent double bookings.

😱😱The AI phone is coming!!🎉🎉 (maybe??)

📢OpenAI is in serious talks with both Jony Ive, the former design supremo at Apple 🍏 and Masayoshi Son from Softbank. The talks are to discuss plans to launch a new AI device, and while we at GG News have no idea what that means, we can’t help but get a little excited!

At the moment there are very few details other than talk of possible funding of $1Billion and the assumption that the device will be a phone variant of some kind? But stay tuned and when we have more info, we will share it here!!🗞️‼️

What have we been having fun with? 🎉

After procrastinating for a while, we finally decided to give Notion a try. Like us, many of you will have seen Notion being increasingly used for all manner of tasks.

However, as a team we just haven’t really taken the time to look at what Notion is and what it can do. In fact, the reason we as a team hadn’t really looked into Notion was because nobody could really give us a clear idea of what it was?

So, here’s a quick overview.

In writing this, it was easy to see why no-one has been able to summarise Notion for us. In truth Notion is something different for everyone. It is a piece of software that helps to organise and streamline your life and your business. Vague? well, yes……...to be honest the easiest way to begin explaining Notion is to start with the functions that 90% of its users will use.

Notion to those 90% is a note taking tool, a task management tool, a planning tool and a database tool. In fact, the video here from Cajun Koi Academy is a really great example of a few ways to use Notion and they also have a link for a really great free template. Just click on the link and then follow the steps, making sure to create a free account with Notion first. Remember to hit “Duplicate” when the template opens.

This template may not suit your needs, but we recommend playing around with it because it is an excellent way to begin to understand the capabilities of Notion. In fact, there is an entire ecosystem of templates out there, many of which are free, and we find them great for inspiration.

Meanwhile, after watching the video the team decided we would start using Notion as a place holder for content for the newsletter and for storing ideas for the podcast.

There are also some great templates for business docs here, which we are definitely planning on taking a look at.
